Questions
More detail on the mechanics over on how it works.
Are there processing fees?
Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction, billed to you by Stripe directly. That is the card processor's fee, not ours. We add nothing on top — no percentage, no per-entrant charge.
Where does the ticket money go?
Straight from the buyer into your own Stripe account. It never passes through a balance of ours, which is how we can honestly say we take none of it. You are the merchant of record, so refunds and receipts are yours to control too.
What happens if I run out of entrants?
Your page stays up and stays viewable, but the entry form comes down. Move up a package and it comes straight back — nothing is lost and nobody has to re-enter. The tiers are close together so the next step up is rarely a big jump.
Do I need a raffle licence?
Probably, and it depends entirely on your state. Raffles are regulated gambling in most of the US and a few states do not permit them at all. You hold the licence and you run the raffle; we provide the software. We ask you to confirm this before your page can go live, and we keep a dated record of what you confirmed.
